Rev. Ronald E. Young

Who is Ron Young? Ron Young, presently Pastor of Emmanuel Tabernacle, through God’s grace, has experienced life changing results in his personal, as well as spiritual life. He shares how he was lost in sin.  Bound by the drug culture of the late 70’s and early 80’s, and tried everything, even suicide. When the doctors gave up hope on him, through a miracle of God, his body was quickened back to life to raise up as a man after God’s own heart, and to lift up a standard for God's people. Pastor Ron entered Teen Challenge in 1987 and completed the program. 

Ron received his biblical training from the Berean University of the A/G, and in April of 1996, graduated and was awarded his diploma in Bible and Doctrine. 

In April of 1998, God call Rev. Ron Young to Emmanuel Tabernacle A/G to shepherd God’s people.  Under Pastor Ron’s leadership, Emmanuel Tabernacle has experienced growth in the grace, wisdom, and likeness of Christ.  He is currently studying for his Ministerial Studies degree.  Pastor Ron is currently the Assistant Director for the Eastern Regional National Black Fellowship of the Assembly of God and a memeber of the New Jersey Assembly of God World Mission Task Force.  He was ordained by the Assemblies of God in 2008.

Pastor Ron and his wife, LaVerne, have been married for 20 years; God has blessed them with four children and four grandchildren.
